Presbyterian Homes -  Norwood is located in a quiet street in the popular suburb of Norwood.

We offer accommodation to 80 people, including a 12 bed specialised Dementia Unit.

Presbyterian Homes -  Legana is located in the West Tamar suburb of Legana.

The Home offers accommodation to 78 people requiring both High and Low Care as well as in a two specialised Dementia Units of 18 & 17 beds capacity.

Presbyterian Homes -  Hobart is located in the  suburb of Warrane. This site was previously known as the ADARDS Home. 

Homes offer single room accommodation with private facilities. Presbyterian Homes ensures that all residents are offered the highest standard of accommodation. Our Safer Care Units provide excellence in dementia care.

 

Presbyterian Homes fosters a client first focus, where Residents living in a Home are our primary focus in the provision of care. Our staff adopted the Eden Alternative philosophy as an approach to care.  Eden encourages development of friendships and care relationships. Plants, animals & children become a normal part of the facility, just as they are in many people's homes.  Our residents are encouraged to contribute to decisions and daily life's activities, just as they also would in their own home.  In fact the Eden Alternative helps us to make our facility a real home.

The Homes offer an extensive Activities program 7 days per week.  There are a number of activities offered each day to ensure that everyone can participate in something they enjoy.  We have a bus which we utilize regularly to take residents into the community.  We also offer men's only activities and outings.
